Golden Bamboo

The Golden Bamboo adds both style and functionality to any landscape, boasting an Asian-inspired aesthetic with its light green color and distinctive saber tooth leaves.

Phyllostachys Aurea, also known as Golden Bamboo, is an excellent choice for privacy screening or creating a bamboo fence. It is easily recognizable by its compressed internodes in the lower part of the canes, resembling a tortoiseshell pattern.

This internodal compression results in shorter heights and thicker cane diameters compared to many other bamboo species. While the canes are typically green, they can turn yellow in full or partial sun, developing into a rich gold-orange color as the plant matures.
